Dermavel Review – Scam or Legit?

So you’re thinking about trying out the Dermavel Plasma Pen for removing skin lesions like skin tags, warts, and fibromas, huh? And maybe you’re wondering if it’s a trustworthy brand? I totally get it. I was in the same boat when I was looking for a way to get rid of age spots. I did some digging and I’m here to give you the lowdown on the Dermavel Plasma Pen.

Just to let you know, I’m not affiliated with Dermavel so you can trust that what I’m telling you is legit. I’ll go over all the important features of the pen so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you.

What is Dermavel Plasma Pen?

Have you heard of the Dermavel Plasma Pen? It’s a pretty cool tool for skin care. Essentially, it uses plasma energy to gently exfoliate your skin and boost collagen production. This means healthier, smoother skin for you!

How Does It Work?

Dermavel Plasma Pen is non-invasive and pain-free, using fibroblast therapy to give you long-term skin health and a natural look. Plus, it helps remove warts and skin tags as a bonus.

Think of it as turning back time with results that last. The pen stimulates the fibroblast cells in your skin, which immediately contract for a firmer appearance. And over time, it increases collagen production to make your skin more elastic and slow down the aging process. Pretty cool, right?

Why Do You Need Dermavel Plasma Pen?

Well, let’s face it, we all have those little skin imperfections that can make us feel self-conscious. Skin tags, cherry angiomas, age spots – they’re all common, but they can be a real pain. And, let’s be real, the thought of getting them removed through invasive surgery or expensive doctor visits is not exactly pleasant.

Well, the good news is that the Dermavel Plasma Pen is a non-invasive, cost-effective solution for removing those pesky skin imperfections. No more spending a fortune on wart and skin tag removal – the Dermavel Plasma Pen has got you covered.

So, if you’re looking to achieve flawless skin without breaking the bank, this might just be the perfect solution for you.

What Is The Plasma Pen Healing Process?

So, you’re probably wondering what the healing process is like after a Plasma Pen treatment. Basically, the Plasma Pen uses electricity to boost collagen production and give your skin a tighter, refreshed look. But, with any treatment that uses plasma, you can expect some swelling and possibly even scabbing.

It’s important to note that you won’t need any anesthesia or invasive techniques, but the swelling is just a normal side effect of the procedure.

Also, don’t be surprised if a small scab forms around the treated area, but it’ll eventually fall off on its own.

What Can I Expect During The Plasma Pen Healing Process?

As for the healing timeline, most people look “cured” after two weeks, but it can take up to eight weeks for your skin to fully heal. And, depending on the treatment area, you may experience some pain and discomfort, but this usually subsides by the fourth day. But, just keep in mind that everyone’s different and it varies from patient to patient.

Hope that gives you a better idea of what to expect during the healing process!

Plasma Pen Healing Process Day By Day Timeline

So, you just got a Plasma Pen treatment and you’re wondering what to expect during the healing process? No worries, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s a rough idea of what you can expect from the first week to a few weeks after treatment. Keep in mind that everyone’s different and healing times may vary.

Week One

The first week can be tough. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown of what you can expect:

  • Day 1: You might wake up with swollen eyes if you treated your bags before bed. You may also feel some pain or discomfort. As the day goes on, the swelling should decrease.
  • Day 2: The swelling should be less than day 1, but you may still feel some pain.
  • Day 3: Swelling should have decreased significantly and scabs will form on the treated areas. Pain and discomfort should be less than before.
  • Day 4: No more pain, but there may still be a bit of swelling.
  • Day 5: All swelling should be gone and scabs will be present.
  • Day 6: Scabs will come off naturally. You may not see any changes yet.
  • Day 7: Scabs should be gone by now. You can start using mineral sunscreens and cosmetics again. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask your doctor.

The Second Week

By the end of the second week, you should be mostly healed. You may still feel some discomfort and the area may be slightly pinker than usual.

Weeks 3-4 & Beyond

The treated area may still be tender and pink during these weeks, but it’ll be less noticeable than before. By the second month, you should be completely healed and you’ll be able to see the improvements.

How To Speed Up The Plasma Pen Healing Process?

So you just had a Plasma Pen treatment and want to know how to speed up the healing process? No problem, I’ve got some tips for ya.

First things first, avoid the sun as much as possible for the next three months. Even if you use sunscreen, hyperpigmentation may still happen. So, protect yourself with a wide-brimmed hat if you need to go outside.

Also, don’t put makeup or creams on the treated area until it’s completely healed. This can actually make things worse by encouraging bacteria growth.

Make sure you keep your laundry clean, too. Wash your sheets and pillowcase every few days and wash your hands before touching the treated area to reduce the risk of contamination.

Don’t scratch or pick at the scabs! They form to protect the skin and picking at them can lead to scarring or infection. Just let them fall off on their own.

Be gentle with the treated area, avoid touching it until it’s completely healed and be careful when washing your face or using prescribed topical treatments. And don’t go to saunas or tanning beds until at least 12 weeks after the treatment.

If you notice any symptoms beyond what’s already been mentioned or your negative reactions last longer than they should, don’t hesitate to see a dermatologist. But, avoid using ice packs, they can actually slow down the healing process.

Finally, take Vitamin C to boost your immune system and speed recovery. Foods high in Vitamin C like citrus fruits, broccoli, potatoes, Brussels sprouts are a great choice.

And that’s it! Follow these guidelines and you’ll be back to your normal self in no time.

FAQ

1. Is skin tag removal covered by insurance?

Skin tag removal is usually considered cosmetic and not covered by insurance unless it’s infected or bleeding.

But, if that’s the case, your health insurance might cover the cost. Keep in mind that if you’re just looking to remove them for aesthetic reasons, the cost will depend on how many and how big they are.

2. Why should I use Dermavel’s Plasma Pen at home instead of visiting a Dermatologist / Clinic?

As for using Dermavel’s Plasma Pen at home instead of visiting a dermatologist or clinic, it really depends on a few things. But one big plus is that home fibroblast therapy can save you a ton of money. Dermatologist visits can cost up to $1200!

3. Does it hurt?

As for the pain factor, some people might not feel any pain at all while others might find it a bit uncomfortable. Most people say it’s just mild to moderate discomfort. And if you’re worried about sensitive areas like the eye area, you can use an anaesthetic cream to numb it up.

4. Why do I need to replace the needles?

They’re considered disposable because they dull over time. If you don’t replace them after each session, you might experience more pain during treatment and increase the risk of scarring and infection.

Plasma Fine needles are processed and made for one session, but you can use them to treat multiple problem areas.

And if you properly clean and disinfect them, you can reuse Plasma Coarse needles for up to 30 days.

Just keep in mind that you should replace the needle(s) immediately if you experience any pain or if they’re not producing a plasma arc.

  1. Initially, I was very sceptical about the Skin Delux Plasma Pen recommended by you. I wasn’t sure if it’s as effective as Dermavel, but after using it for a month, I’m happy with what I have achieved. I used the fine needles with a low setting to test a few marks on my face…seeing it works…I gradually started to remove small moles/skin tags near my eyes on both sides. After cleaning my face with water, I added light Vaseline to the area. The small scabs fell off in 5 days. So far, so good. Skin appears to be tighter👍

  2. Thanks for your advice.
I was unsure about this skin delux pen but decided to give it a try. I had a skin tag mole that was near armpit that was annoying. I bought some numbing cream let it set for 15 min.
Then removed the skin tag, no pain and keeping working it until it was gone.
Cleaned it after and it’s totally removed.
    Saved me a doctors visit.
Keep clean and cover while healing.
Each time I use this it takes a few days for it to scan over and then several more before it is fully healed.
