SmileActives Reviews – Scam or Legit? Truth Exposed!

Should you buy SmileActives? Is it worth your money or a scam?

If you are reading this SmileActives review, chances are you have watched the ads for SmileActives and wonder if it really delivers what it claims.

If the word “cheese” makes you break out in a sweat, you might want to start polishing your pearls. Smileactives offers a foolproof alternative to traditional solutions like strips or good old baking soda for getting in shape for impromptu photo shoots. Among the limited selection of quick-fix products they offer are gels, pens, toothbrushes and LED speed boosters.

The success of this product online is likely due to the general desire for a bright smile. Smileactives not only has 14,000 Instagram followers, but has also been featured in major publications such as Bustle and InStyle.

Their routine for a radiant look probably already includes things like cosmetics, skin care and hair care, but teeth whitening might be the missing element.

Over the past few weeks, I have done thorough research about the SmileActives to help you make an informed decision. I can tell you everything you need to know before you buy.

At the end of this review, I will also tell you the best alternative of SmileActives so that you can enjoy the same benefit at a lower cost.

In this SmileActives review, I’ll cover the following topics to assist you in making an informed decision:

What is SmileActives?

Raise your hand if you prefer a ‘lip smile’ to a ‘tooth grin’. If I am being completely honest, I do not blame you. Although I make an effort to brush my teeth thoroughly at least three times a day, I still have not managed to get as sparkling white as other Instagram influencers.

It’s a difficult goal to achieve. The glare seems unattainable when faced with a barrage of caffeinated drinks, savory foods, and even the occasional alcoholic beverage.

Fortunately, we have access to expert help. Robert Eric Montgomery, a biochemist and inventor who specializes in cutting-edge dental treatments, takes the stage. Teeth whitening products like power gels and vibrating toothbrushes are his specialty.

Although the details of Smileactives’ founding are sketchy at best, we know the CEO is none other than Montgomery, who also founded contemporaries such as BriteSmile, OPI and Oraceutics.

Let us not sugarcoat this. We have all used the standard camera filter to brighten our photos after they have been taken, but who can really blame us? White teeth are hard to achieve, especially for avid coffee or tea drinkers. But before you give up hope altogether, let me introduce you to Smileactives. With the help of this dental care brand, you can quickly and easily regain your self-confidence.

Compared to big companies like Colgate or Arm & Hammer, Smileactives offers only a modest selection of products. These include products like whitening toothpaste, pencils, LED accelerators and toothbrushes

Honestly, it’s a less overwhelming shopping experience for me. The less time I spend looking for essentials on a website, the better for me.

If you were not born with perfect teeth, our review of Smileactives will feature the company’s best products.

Smileactives Teeth Whitening Review

Happiness spreads when people smile. That’s why it’s so tragic when you can not even muster a smile. Those who need a boost of confidence should do so now.

This Smileactives review focuses on some of the company’s best-selling products in this area, such as its whitening gels and rapid repair pens.

Smileactives 6 Shade Power Whitening Gel Review

Few love stories are about the color yellow. Even though Coldplay dedicated a song to the subject, few people actually want to have discolored teeth. Whiten your teeth with 6 Shade Power Whitening Gel and let the stars wear gold.

Polyclean technology, the driving force behind the formula, is essential to both achieving the desired shine and removing plaque from your teeth. It also contains super-oxygenated microfoam that gradually removes even the most stubborn stains.

According to Smileactives, you should incorporate this toothpaste into your regular toothpaste routine for 30 days. Smileactives’ 6 Shade Power Whitening Gel is currently on sale for just $20, thanks to a “buy one, get one” promotion.

Smileactives Power Whitening Gel Review

Do not put your dental health in the hands of the dental care gods to get a picture-perfect grin for social media. Power Whitening Gel is designed to remove stubborn stains and polish away deposits deep in your teeth.

This is because of the revitalizing effect of Polyclean technology and super-oxygenated foam on the yellow pearls you love.

You can get this item in a large or small size. If you like to take last minute trips, it’s best to have both on hand. In this Smileactives review, we will go over the prices for the Power Whitening Gel:

  • The Large Power Whitening Gel: $75
  • The Small Power Whitening Gel: $25

Smileactives Advanced Teeth Whitening Pen Review

We have all had the misfortune of accidentally spilling our coffee. Some of us arrive with stain removal pens in hand and immediately set to work in the bathroom sink.

But when it comes to our teeth, we often have to improvise with a napkin. As an alternative, the Advanced Teeth Whitening Pen is a handy tool to have on hand for dental emergencies.

This handy applicator contains hydrogen peroxide and features a soft bristle tip for painless disinfection. Thanks to the highly concentrated whitening chemicals, users can see results in as little as 7 days.

And do not worry, you can choose from six different flavors of Advanced Teeth Whitening Pen to mask that unpleasant “alcohol” aftertaste.

The Advanced Teeth Whitening Pen is available for $18 and comes in a variety of flavors including Super Mint, Melon, Spearmint Splash, Winterberry and more.

Smileactives ProLite LED Whitening Accelerator Review

Brides and would-be models, please respond. Yes, I know everyone is busy preparing for the big day. In between skin care, workouts and dieting, make time for dental care with ProLite LED Whitening Accelerator.

The blue light technology in this device helps remove stains. Customers can use the device without the help of a professional, making it ideal for home use.

Thanks to the built-in timer, you can sit back and relax while the device does its job for 16 minutes.

When the treatment is finished, the device switches off automatically. The ProLite LED Whitening Accelerator can be purchased for a total of $55 and is said to deliver results in as little as 7 days.

Smileactives ProLite LED Whitening Accelerator Kit Review

The ProLite LED Whitening Accelerator Kit is only for the most dedicated customers who are desperate to achieve a divine radiance

In addition to the blue light devices, this kit also includes an Advanced Teeth Whitening Pen. All in all, buyers have everything they need for a day out or a relaxing stay at home. Those stains will never completely disappear.

We recommend taking the Advanced Teeth Whitening Pen in your carry-on luggage when you go out to brunch or on a date. The manufacturer recommends using the LED Accelerator both before bed and after waking up for maximum effect.

The ProLite LED Whitening Accelerator Kit can be purchased online for $65.

Smileactives Vibrite Sonic Toothbrush Review

Of course, there’s nothing like strictly brushing your teeth to achieve a bright white shine. In this review of Smileactives, we will take a closer look at two of the company’s products so you can see how they compare.

Smileactives Vibrite Sonic Toothbrush Kit Review

This is not some cheap plastic sponge. The Vibrite sonic toothbrush set removes plaque and debris from between your teeth with 40,000 brush strokes per minute.

In case you need to remove stuck dirt, it has three different levels of cleaning power. Best of all, this unit has a built-in timer so you can track your progress and know when you have reached the ideal duration.

This version comes with a UV disinfecting carrying bag instead of a standard plastic bag. The Vibrite sonic toothbrush, available for $49 and charged via USB, removes even the most stubborn stains from your teeth.

Smileactives Vibrite Sonic Replacement Brush Heads (Set of 3) Review

Did you know that your toothbrush is no longer effective after three to four months? Those who are familiar with this rule usually encounter the same reasoning. It’s inconvenient and if you want to use plastic, it can also be incredibly wasteful.

The Vibrite Sonic replacement brush heads (set of 3) are designed to fit your current model and give you a more eco-friendly option.

Thanks to the color-coded brushes, brushing your teeth just got easier. You can currently purchase the Vibrite Sonic Replacement Brush Heads (Set of 3) for $30.

Since most of its offerings are designed for self-application, the company can serve as a convenient alternative for people who live far from a dental clinic. The best part about the whitening gels and pens is that you can do other things while applying them.

Comparison: Smileactives vs. GLO Science

Whitening your teeth from the comfort of your own home is not a new concept. When customers want to save time, they usually opt for a convenient service rather than an on-site appointment. In the dental care market, names like GLO Science compete with Smileactives.

So how do our competitors compare to us? Then let us find out.

  • Provides at-home whitening products.
  • Serves time-sensitive consumers (or those preparing for a major event)
  • Brushes, whitening gels, stain pens, and an LED Accelerator are available.
  • The prices range from $18 to $75.
  • There are no claims about ethical labor or sustainable manufacture.
  • Currently has a free shipping offering with a money-back guarantee of 60 days.

GLO Science:

  • It is also known for its teeth whitening formulas.
  • Has been in existence since 2011.
  • Is not limited to a specific audience (anyone can use its products)
  • Available are appliances, whitening gels, toothbrushes, glo bottles, pens and business items.
  • Prices range from $12 to $199. There is no mention of eco-friendly manufacturing or ethical working conditions.
  • All orders ship for free and you get a 30-day money back guarantee.

It is ultimately your decision, but here are some things to consider. Smileactives might be a good alternative for anyone looking for a less expensive way to whiten their teeth. The alternative is GLO Science, which offers customers the option of ordering professional caliber treatments if they need a more thorough cleaning.

Benefits of SmileActives

1. Product Quality is acceptable

SmileActives’s product quality is satisfactory. It’s well-designed and serves its purpose well. Some customers may, however, receive defective products from them. As a result, I would recommend that SmileActives inspect the products before shipping them to customers. Customers are less likely to receive subpar or defective products as a result of this.

2. Customer Service is Available

Shopping in stores that provide poor customer service is extremely inconvenient. As a result, it’s critical to shop at stores that at the very least provide a phone number and an email address for after-sales service.

SmileActives’s customer service is adequate but not exceptional. You may contact them if you have any questions or concerns about your order, but it may take more than 48 hours to receive a response. This is not ideal, especially in some emergency situations.

3. SmileActives meets the product description

Many stores use exaggerated marketing tactics in their advertisements to increase sales. This does not always imply that the product is a scam.

SmileActives’s advertisements are quite impressive and can catch the attention of customers. Some may believe they are overhyped. However, you cannot conclude that it is a scam because SmileActives does, to some extent, deliver on its promises.

4. Door-to-door Delivery

Many people prefer to shop online because it saves them time. Simply place an order and wait for the product to arrive. You are not required to drive to a physical store to obtain the product.

SmileActives is an online retailer that offers door-to-door delivery. Even if you live in a remote location, you can still purchase from SmileActives.

5. Easy to Place an Order

SmileActives’s website design is appealing. It is very simple for people to place an order. Simply click the “add to cart” button and proceed to the payment page with your credit card. Unlike a physical store, SmileActives’s website accepts orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

SmileActives Cons and Complaints

1. SmileActives is Overpriced

SmileActives is not inexpensive. Many people complain that it is too expensive. Because the quality of SmileActives is not superior to that of other similar products, the higher price is not justified.

You will be able to find a similar or identical product at a lower cost elsewhere. Let me tell you where at the end of this SmileActives review.

2. Inefficient logistics

SmileActives is a small company with insufficient capital to invest in logistics. They are forced to rely on inefficient third-party logistics. They have minimal control over the shipping speed.

Therefore, you may see a lot of customer complaints about their slow delivery. If you want fast shipping, go with a large marketplace like Amazon. Unlike SmileActives, Amazon can ship products in a matter of days.

3. SmileActives Has Few Positive Reviews

I looked for positive SmileActives reviews but came up empty-handed. While the product is excellent, customers may be dissatisfied with their service.

Because SmileActives is a small company, you should not expect them to provide world-class service. It is preferable to purchase from a large marketplace such as Amazon if you want to ensure good after-sales service. There is much better customer protection there.

4. SmileActives does not offer unconditional refunds

SmileActives does not always issue refunds to customers. Although there is a refund policy, SmileActives has complete discretion over whether or not to issue refunds.

Some customers may find it unjust. However, this is a disadvantage when purchasing from an independent online store. Personally, I prefer purchasing from marketplaces such as Amazon, where the refund policy is reasonable. When requesting a refund, you will have Amazon’s backup.

5. Difficult to Return the Product

If you don’t like SmileActives, it’s difficult to return it to them. You would be responsible for the shipping costs.

That is why I dislike shopping at independent stores. If you want to avoid this problem, I recommend purchasing from Amazon. If you don’t like the product, you can easily return it. Later, I’ll tell you where you can get a similar or identical product to SmileActives on Amazon.

6. Some Good Reviews are Written by SmileActives’s Affiliates

You probably have found some other reviews of SmileActives and all of them are saying good words.

But some of them are actually paid to write, meaning they are sponsored posts. Therefore, their words are often biased and not trustworthy. Those reviews are simply sales pages and do not tell you the downsides of SmileActives.

By common sense, should you trust someone who has a conflict of interest that receives huge compensation by “reviewing” SmileActives? Probably not. They are not reviewing, but selling!

Therefore, I recommend reading the reviews of those written by the non-affiliates of SmileActives.

7. SmileActives Spent a Lot of Budgets on Advertising

SmileActives spends a lot of money on advertisements. There is nothing wrong with marketing their products via paid advertisements.

But the problem is how can they make a profit with huge marketing costs? It’s common sense that SmileActives passes the costs to customers. So that explains why SmileActives is more expensive than other similar products you can find on Amazon. The higher price doesn’t mean their quality is better. They are just trying to cover their marketing costs.

As a smart customer, you should only pay for the quality of the product, but not the marketing costs of the product. That’s why I recommend purchasing from a large marketplace like Amazon, which I will tell you more about later.

Is SmileActives a scam?

I cannot say SmileActives is a scam for legal reasons. I researched them thoroughly, including their social media pages, review sites, forums, and so on. And while I see nothing suspicious about their business, I cannot find any verified positive reviews.

If SmileActives is a genuine and well-established company offering high-quality products, you should be able to find numerous positive customer reviews about them online.

But, strangely, I can’t find any. This could be due to the company’s service quality rather than its product quality. As a result, I have less faith in them. That’s why I looked for a similar or identical product on Amazon for you. Let me elaborate later.

SmileActives Customer Reviews

Besides the effective teeth whiteners from Smileactives, is there any other reason to smile? From our side there are no complaints, on the contrary, we have discovered hundreds of satisfied customers.

The company’s website has 1,041 reviews with an average rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars, but there are no comments written specifically for the formulations.

Most customers who have used the company’s products report a significant improvement. So did one satisfied customer who gave the product a five-star rating.

“I tried hundreds of teeth cleaning and whitening treatments before discovering Smileactives, and I was never satisfied with any of them. My teeth were cleaner and whiter than they had ever been in just two weeks. I definitely suggest this product, and the price is unbeatable.”

We can learn more about Smileactives’ offering by looking at competing online retailers. It seems that most customers are satisfied with the results after using their formulas for an extended period of time, as evidenced by the positive reviews on retail websites like Amazon and QVC. Let the reviews speak for themselves:

  • QVC for the Advanced Teeth Whitening Trio: 89 reviews with 2.5/5 stars
  • Amazon for the Power Teeth Whitening Gel: 4,337 reviews with 4/5 stars
  • Best Views Reviews for the Power Teeth Whitening Gel: 546 votes with 7.4/10 stars

“I was quite suspicious of this stuff. I have crowns in my mouth and enormous cavities filled with everything, yet this medication actually works. After a month of use, I went to the dentist for my 6 month cleaning, and they were astounded by the condition of my teeth, particularly my gums.” one Amazon customer wrote.

The Teeth Blog is just one of several unaffiliated sites that has written a positive review of this dental care provider. According to the author, “Smileactives products have produced stunning effects for thousands of people, and given their low cost, they are well worth a go!”

If you are still undecided, you should know that the company backs its products with a 60-day money-back guarantee in case you are not satisfied with the results.

SmileActives Reviews: Final Verdict

SmileActives is a fantastic product that delivers on the promises made in their advertisements. However, I would not recommend purchasing from them. Instead, you can find a similar or identical product on Amazon.

Because SmileActives is a small company, I am hesitant to purchase from them. Personally, I always try to find an alternative on Amazon. Every time, I can find a similar or better one at a lower price on Amazon. In the following section, I’ll tell you where you can get it on Amazon.

Where to Get the Best Alternative of SmileActives?

If you’d like to get the best alternative for SmileActives, you might go to Amazon.

I just found a very similar product on Amazon that can produce the same or even better results. It is also more reasonably priced!

That’s why I bought one from Amazon, and I don’t regret it because of the excellent customer service and quick delivery.

You should look into it so that you won’t regret it later.

7 thoughts on “SmileActives Reviews – Scam or Legit? Truth Exposed!”

  1. The product was ok…not what my expectations were. I truly gave this product a chance…I used this product for several months, I just expected more. Each month I received a tube and $24.42 would be charged to my account. I finally called to cancel all future orders. The rep ask why & when told it just never reached my expectations he tried to get me to try their new improved product…I ask if they had a new improved product, why were they sending me old ineffective product? Long story short…I no longer want their product ever…of course he told me I would be obligated to pay $48.67…that is what he says is my balance…go figure…BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY….DO NOT ORDER!!

  2. Beware, Smileactives automatically charges an enormous price for 90 day shipments of replacement toothpaste and brushes. The charge to me was over $108 per month, taken from my PayPal account in three monthly installments, every month–just for a tub of toothpaste and three brushes. Smileactives claims ordering the toothbrush authorizes the perpetual charges. The company does not replace the toothbrush even though mine broke before the first 90 day period. I happened to check my PayPal account and found charges for about 13 months. I got no monitory relief from Smileactives. I would never use this vendor again.

  4. BUYER BEWARE !!!!! Definately a scam to automatically charge you for future shipments. $113 every 13 weeks. Had to fight w/ them to cancel.

  5. This product did not do anything for me. My gums became sore and red. At times a little pain when chewing. I went to my dentist and he had me to stop the program. They charged me twice for the item I ordered. My bank said they were a scam. $29.95 is the charge just to stop the program even though I do not owe them anything. I thought about a refund but my dentist give me his lawyer’s name. I’ll contact him.

  6. Scam artists extraordinaire! Late 11/2021 they billed my card $40.94 & shipped product AFTER I’d told them to cancel my “subscription.”. Called to complain & requested return shipping label. They sent a prepaid Tyvek pouch I used to return their product. Lo & behold, in late January 2022, what appears on my credit card statement? A refund? No, another charge, this time for $38.47. And none of their stinking product ever arrives for that charge. Forget resolving issues over the phone. Rep was incoherent, barely fluent in English, and denied receiving returned product. Couldn’t explain $38.47 charge. I’m complaining to my state’s attorney general. Small potatoes maybe but in high volume it adds up. Scum.

  7. I suppose the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that they boldly make claims about their product that are completely false. Teeth whitening/bleaching products do NOT lighten or whiten artificial surfaces such as tooth colored crowns, bridgework, fillings or denture teeth. They only act on natural tooth structure. Yet, they continually make these claims. Very misleading!
