Neatcell Laser Pen Review – Scam or Legit? Exposed!

Is Neatcell a trustworthy brand? In other words, Is Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen worth it?

For removing tattoos and melanin deposits, Neatcell appears to be helpful.

However, you may have concerns about the effectiveness and safety of Neatcell.

Since I was looking to remove a ring tattoo, I had spent some time researching Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen to see if it really works.

At the end of this article, I’ll also tell you where to get the best price for Neatcell.

Below is what I’ll cover in this review of Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen.

What is Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen?

Neatcell is an at-home tattoo, mole and freckle removal product.

Neatcell uses laser technology to break down the ink particles in your tattoo. After breaking down these particles, your body will remove them from the skin.

You won’t feel pain because the speed of Neatcell laser treatment is very fast. Also because the speed is fast, you don’t have to worry about leaving scars on your skin.  The laser will only damage the melanin but not other tissues.

However, when I was going to fill in my credit card information, I found that the price is cheaper at the official retail store

That’s why I ended up buying a Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen from there which turned out to be a great decision!

Why Do You Need Neatcell?

If you want to remove a tattoo, moles, freckles, acne on your face or body, Neatcell can help you.

Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen is a safe, effective and inexpensive alternative to the traditional laser tattoo removal at the dermatologist’s office.

It is a quick and non-surgical method to remove tattoos, freckles or other melanin. The laser beam of Neatcell can break the melanin into tiny particles in a short period of time.

Then the melanin will be absorbed by the lymphatic metabolism and gradually disappear.

How Does Neatcell Work?

Neatcell Picosecond Laser Pen can resolve melanin into fine particles, promote skin metabolism and reduce melanin deposits.

It can deliver energy very quickly to vibrate and shatter the tiny particles that makeup pigment and tattoo ink. After the melanin particles are broken down into a powder, they will then be metabolized by your body.

Neatcell’s technology leverages the human body’s natural healing process to restore young skin. It can convert the laser energy into gentle pressure waves, which will then activate the body cell’s signals.

It should take around 6 to 8 sessions to fully remove your tattoo. The pigments need time to begin denaturing and fade away.

Some factors will also affect the time it takes to remove your tattoo such as the colour of the ink, size and shape of the tattoo, tattoo location etc.

For the procedures of using the Neatcell, you can refer to the user manual, which will show you step by step how to use it properly for the best result.

Is Neatcell Safe to Use? Any Risk?

Most people have this question in mind: Is Neatcell safe to use?

Neatcell is safe when used properly. The whole treatment using Neatcell is very safe and efficient. Actually, the pico laser cannot even break a balloon, so it will not harm your skin.

You may feel a tingling heat during the process. If the pigment distribution is large, you may have a more intense feeling. But the speed is very fast and it should end in 5-10 minutes. The level of pain is totally acceptable.

Just make sure you don’t point the laser at your eyes, otherwise, it can burn your retinas and cause permanent damage to your eyes. Also, you should use a maximum exposure of 1-2 seconds in each area.

There is an eye protector included with Neatcell, so make sure you wear it during operation.

Although either of them can be used at home, I would recommend the Red one over the Blue one.

Red light Neatcell laser pen is safer because it uses a lower frequency and does not emit as much power as a blue light pen.

On the other hand, Blue light is better suited for salons or other controlled environments since it is harsher than red light.

Neatcell Laser Pen Pros

1. Less treatment time

A wide range of applications, powerful and rapid energy makes it possible to dissolve dark pigments directly. Less treatment time, better results

2. Safe to use

Neatcell Laser Pen is durable and safe. The short pulse width hardly produces any light or heat effect. It will have a more noticeable effect if used long-term.

3. Breaks up dark pigment

Using the Neatcell Laser Pen, melanin can be efficiently converted into fine particles, thereby promoting skin metabolism and reducing melanin deposits, while also reducing freckles and dark spots, giving the skin a healthy glow by refining skin from within.

4. You can do it from the comfort of your own home

When Covid 19 is still serious, visiting a dermatologist’s office is not safe. With the Nicecell Laser Pen, you can remove your tattoo from the comfort of your own home.

Neatcell Laser Pen Cons and Complaints

1. Neatcell Laser Pen isn’t cheap

The price of the Neatcell Laser Pen isn’t cheap. Some people might find it unaffordable. But compared to the tattoo removal service, the price seems reasonable. More importantly, Neatcell Laser Pen can be reused many times.

2. Inefficient logistics in less developed countries

Less developed countries such as India and Argentina may experience longer delivery times due to less efficient logistics. However, shipping is usually not an issue if you live in a developed country like the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, etc.

3. It takes a few sessions before you can see any results

It takes a few sessions before seeing any visible results. Most customers would choose to use the second to the lowest setting so that it won’t cause any pain. While the process is slow because you don’t want to damage the skin, the results are great. In many instances, the black areas are clear or faded and no scarring is evident.

4. Neatcell Laser Pen might sting a bit

The Neatcell Laser Pen might sting a bit, but after a week, the area will begin to heal and the ink will be lifted into the scabs, gradually coming off. If you’re concerned about mild pain, you might apply some numbing cream before using the Neatcell Laser Pen.

Is There A Better Alternative to Neatcell Laser Pen?

In case you worry Neatcell Laser Pen won’t remove your tattoo effectively, you may choose to see a dermatologist professionally trained in tattoo removal.

In order to minimize scarring, dermatologists commonly use Q-switched lasers, which produce high-energy bursts at a very rapid rate.

Occasionally, they may use fractionated lasers to remove stubborn pigment or feather scarred areas.

Another method dermatologists use is a picosecond laser that emits an even faster pulse of light to break up tattoo pigment particles.

Laser clinics usually charge $100 per session to remove tattoos. The problem is, some people aren’t confident that the technicians will do the laser treatments evenly, leaving them with a  faded and blotchy result.

It is for this reason that they decided to buy their own laser pens, the same kind that the clinic uses for a thousand dollars.

What are the Features and Benefits of Neatcell?

  • Cheaper than laser tattoo removal
  • Can do it from the comfort of your home
  • Effective in resolving melanin into fine particles
  • Fast laser beam and focused laser energy
  • Do not hurt the skin tissues
  • Reduce freckles and dark spots
  • Painless and safe to use

  1. This product actually works for tattoo removal i was a little skeptical at first because theres very little info out there on this pen on how it works but once you figure this out youll be amazed

    • How, where did u purchase your neatcell pen? I live in Ireland and heard that is a scam website. Thanks

      • I bought it from the store mentioned in this blog post. At first I was kinda worried this would not work but after the first use I can see it fading. Still in the process of treating my tattoo but most of it has gone and the outline is fading away. It does sting a bit when you’re not expecting it. Do not treat one spot for too long and definitely use skin renewal or aloe vera afterwards.

  2. Hi, I have seen a lot of websites of neatcell and I do not know which one is legitimate. Is the one recommended in this review post the original?

    • I bought the red light neatcell from the store recommended in this review post and used it to treat my acne. It looks like the original. It works for me and there is the brand Neatcell on the pen and package.

  3. I bought it from last year but never heard back from them since then. They just took away my money without sending the Neatcell laser pen to me. Do you know if has any contact number?

    • Hi Charlotte, sorry to hear that. As far as we know, there is only an enquiry form on Have you tried that?

  4. I went to a laser clinic and spent $100 per session and the tattoo is still not off. The technician did the laser treatments unevenly, leaving me with a faded and botchy result. Finally decided to buy my own Neatcell laser pen, and this one works just as well as the thousand dollar machine at the clinic.

  5. Started seeing results on the first day , using the laser on a faded cannabis leaf tattoo in between the thumb and pointer finger.

  6. Removed a dark mole after I session. Currently working on lightening the black outline on a tat see some difference after first try.

  7. I’ve used it twice. I can see a noticeable difference. I know people who have paid 700 for one session of tattoo removal and they got not much more difference.

  8. This has been working great. I have my exwives name tattooed on my ring finger and it’s been 2 secessions and I think 2 maybe 3 more and it will be completely gone

  9. I’m in the process of removing a section of a hand tattoo. There was visible progress after 1 use. It will take many more sessions because I am doing it myself but there’s less pain, less scaring & WAY less inexpensive than having it done professionally. At my consultation a 1″×1″ section of laser tattoo removal was estimated $300 per session, needing at least 3 sessions!
