Shredded BBQ Chicken Recipe: How to Make It

Ingredients (Servings: 6)

  • 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut in half 
  • 1 12-oz bottle of barbeque sauce 
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing 
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar 
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce  


  1. Place the chicken in your slow cooker. 
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the barbeque sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. 
  3. Pour this mixture over the chicken. 
  4. Cook for 6-8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. 
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks.
