Salami Roll-Up Recipe: How to Make It

Ingredients (4 servings) 

  • 7 oz. (200 g) mozzarella 
  • 1/3 lb. (150 g) salami 
  • 1 1/3 c (150 g) shredded gouda 
  • 2/3 c (60 g) almond flour 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 egg yolk 
  • 3 Tbsp. cream cheese 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Directions

  1. Cut the mozzarella into cubes and melt in a bowl in the microwave for 90 seconds along with the cheese and egg. Then make a batter of the mixture and the almond flour. 
  2. Roll the batter out thin on over parchment paper. First cover with the Gouda, then the salami. Carefully roll up and slightly pinch the ends with your fingers. Then cut the roll into 1 inch (2 cm) slices. Spread on a baking sheet and coat with egg yolk. 
  3. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes and serve warm.
