Quick and Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe: How to Make It

Ingredients (2 Servings) 

  • 2 chicken breasts 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 
  • 2 tbsp shredded Swiss cheese 
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese 
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs 
  • 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh parsley 
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 2 tbsp chopped ham 


  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. 
  2. Pound the chicken breasts until they are about 1/4 inch thick. 
  3. Season the breasts with salt and pepper. 
  4. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and Swiss cheese. 
  5. In another small bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parsley, and 1 tbsp of oil. 
  6. Heat the remaining tbsp of oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium heat. 
  7. Cook the chicken for 3 minutes on each side. 
  8. Place the chicken breasts in the center of the skillet so that they are side by side. 
  9. Spread the cheese mixture over the chicken. 
  10. Sprinkle the ham over the cheese mixture then top with breadcrumbs. 
  11. Bake for 10 minutes.
