Lemon Chicken Pasta Recipe: How to Make It

Ingredients (2 Servings) 

  • 2 tbsp butter 
  • 2 chicken breasts 
  • 2 cups chicken broth 
  • 1 cup water 
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice 
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest 
  • 1 tbsp honey 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 
  • 1/2 lb angel hair pasta 
  • Chopped fresh parsley 


  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. 
  2. Cook the chicken 4 minutes on each side then remove to a plate. 
  3. Add the broth, water, lemon juice, zest, honey, salt, and pepper to the saucepan. Bring to a boil. 
  4. Add the pasta to the saucepan and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. 
  5. Cut the cooked chicken into strips then add to the mixture. Cover and simmer for another 5 minutes. 
  6. Garnish with parsley then serve.
