Is Hinx™ a trustworthy brand? Should you buy the WILDER Series Black?
If you’re reading this review, chances are you might have watched the advertisement of Hinx™ on social media sites and wondering if it’s worth your try.
After all, it might sound too good to be true that it can help you maintain the correct posture and relieve your back pain.
That’s why I have tried my very best to browse through tons of customer reviews on posture correctors, lest you might waste your hard-earned money.
You can rest assured that what I tell you is genuine because I’m not affiliated to Hinx™.
Below is what I’ll cover in the review of Hinx™.
- What is Hinx™ all about?
- Things to know before you buy posture correctors
- Is Hinx™ a scam?
- Customer and User Reviews
- My Final Verdict
What is Hinx™All About?
Hinx™ is one of the posture aids available in the market. Posture aids (often called posture braces) are very common, temporary treatments for neck, shoulder, and back pain as well as neck, shoulder, and lower back injuries.
Each affected or injured area has its own special brace designed to support it, and they’ve been used around the world for many, many years. But do they really work—and are they safe?
While there are lots of braces and posture correctors on the market to wear on the go, the chiropractors we spoke with don’t recommend relying on one.
It is said that forcing your body to have good posture by wearing a brace can lead to more muscle weakness as you become dependent on it.
Worse still, most users ensure that Hinx™ just sells rebranded Chinese knock-offs that have been around for a while under different brand names.
In fact, if you go to Amazon, you’ll find identical-looking posture correctors under many different names, which is common for mass-produced items like earbuds, cables, etc from China.
Hinx™ will train your body to adopt correct posture gradually.
Since Hinx™ is small, you can wear it under your clothes. It’s comfortable because it is made of lightweight, soft, porous ventilating materials.
Hinx™ has different sizes that cater to everyone’s needs. You can adjust the size according to your needs as well.
To get the best results, you can wear Hinx™ for 2 hours a day. After 21 days, you will experience significant improvement in your posture.
Things to know before you buy posture correctors
Posture correctors offer some support for injured joints, giving relief to the wearer.
However, they are best used as more of a reminder to straighten up—the posture aid should not be used to take the full weight of the wearer’s neck, shoulders, or back.
Used correctly, posture correctors can help the wearer feel less pain and attain more mobility.
Posture correctors are only temporary—they should not be used over extended periods of time.
This kind of usage tends to weaken the muscles and may even cause further injury due to the aid supporting the bulk of the weight instead of the muscles, causing atrophy.
Think of a posture corrector as one tool in your toolbox for a pain-free neck, shoulder, or back—it is not a magical fix.
It is important to take your posture problems seriously and use your posture aid correctly.
You must stick to your posture aid schedule. In order for your posture aid to do its job, you must follow your doctor’s instructions on when and for how long to wear it.
Is Hinx™ a scam?
I don’t think Hinx™ is a scam.
That said, there is not much information about the brand Hinx™. On the homepage of their website, I couldn’t even find out who is the founder or where is the Hinx™ made.
Some users I talked to said that Hinx™ is a knock-off made in China.
In short, Hinx™ appears to be a brand that emerged from nowhere. If that’s the case, you have to be aware of the refund policy.
On the page of the refund policy, it says that to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, not dirty or damaged, with tags, in its original packaging.
Does it mean that you can’t give it a try to see if it fits you? How about if you want to return it after wearing it for a few times?
Customer and User Reviews
As mentioned earlier, I have reached out to some of Hinx’s customers. Though some are satisfied with Hinx™, most of them aren’t happy with the experience.
One of the customers said that the straps dig into the place where your arms meet your shoulders. This is not something he was able to wear for very long before he took it off.
Other customers said they were not satisfied with Hinx™ because the Velcro and the elastic material did not allow a tight and secure fitting.
When I asked whether they would recommend Hinx™, nearly all of them advised against buying posture correctors from the company.
But I won’t absolutely side with their comments. You might give Hinx™ a try if you still have confidence in the brand.
My Final Verdict
Though I won’t recommend the brand Hinx™, Hinx™ has some useful features. It is lightweight and can be worn under all your clothes. It might also improve your posture on the back and relieve your back pain to some extent.
However, the band is considerably new without much information about it. Is it legit? Yes, it most likely is. I can’t eliminate the risk involved with it, but it seems safe.
You can’t find contact information like a company address. There is a direct contact number on their website. I tried dialing the number last Wednesday but no one picked up the call. Perhaps they were on holiday.
That said, the site provides a query form to answer any questions.
Hinx™ is much more expensive than other alternatives on eBay and Amazon. But you like the brand Hinx™ and don’t care about the exorbitant price, then you can do it with the small amount of risk involved.
