Fennel-Bacon Sandwich Recipe: How to Make It

Ingredients (4 servings) 

  • 8 slices low carb bread 
  • 4 slices of bacon 
  • 1 bunch of fennel 
  • 4 Tbsp. crème fraîche 
  • 1 dash ground pepper 

Directions

  1. Thinly shave the fennel. 
  2. In a pan, first cook the bacon, then place on paper towel to remove the grease. Then sauté the fennel in the hot pan for about 3 minutes. Season with pepper. 
  3. Spread one tablespoon of crème fraîche each on four slices of bread. Top with bacon and fennel. Top with the remaining slices of bread and enjoy warm.
